Velociraptor Tour, Sheffield Motorpoint Arena, 10/12/2011
Minha terceira vez vendo Kasabian e WOW, foi a melhor até agora. Arranjei um jeito de pegar um lugar na o barreira perto de onde o Serge fica (isso requer uma alma corajosa para estar perto do Sr. Meighan. lol)
O fundo do palco ficava preto e branco e começou a rodar no começo de Days Are Forgotten, começou a ficar maior e mais perto a cada momento. A banda tomou o palco e a multidão ficou louca ouvindo a sua voz mas sem vê-lo. Quando ele apareceu o teto foi tirado!
Shoot The Runner, Velociraptor, Underdog & Where Did All The Love Go? foram as seguintes. Todas excelentes.

A seguinte foi Man Of Simple Pleasures o qual foi sublime.
Thick As Thieves veio em seguida, (uma das minhas favoritas de West Ryder) foi ainda mais especial por causa da levada de The Doors, “People Are Strange” no final.
Uma pista de que Serge estava entrando na brilhante Take Aim, a multidão começou a pular mas logo parou. A lendária Club Foot pareceu que estavam ficando mais loucos ainda gritando os “ooooush” cada vez mais alto.
Re-Wired e Empire incríveis. A citação de sempre de Tom “Sheffield, vocês são Empire”
Tom sumiu enquando Serge cantava a La Fee Verte em um lindo palco iluminado de verde.
Hora de ficarmos loucos novamente com a perfeita Fast Fuse. Sempre amo o Tom cantando “Its getting hotterrrrr” .... e realmente estava.

E a resposta – SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM!

A última música foi Fire. A energia na arena estava fora desse mundo. Nós não queríamos que a música acabasse. A banda agradeceu a multidão. Veio para a frente para acenar, aplaudir e saudar todos nós. Eles genuinamente pareciam ter se divertido muito. Eu nunca vi o Serge tão doido no palco antes.

My 3rd time seeing the mighty Kasabian and WOW!!! Was the best yet. Managed to get a spot at the barrier in front of where Serge stands, (it takes a brave soul to stand in front of Mr Meighan lol)
The background of the stage lit up black and white and started to rotate as the intro to Days Are Forgotten began.getting wider and closer each time.
The band took to the stage minus Tom and the crowd went wild as we could hear his voice but couldn't see him.When he appeared it was as though the roof took off!
Shoot The Runner, Velociraptor, Underdog & Where Did All The Love Go? followed. - all excellent.
I.D next, this was outstanding!

Cue Serge going into the brilliant Take Aim, the crowd was jumping nonl stop.
Legendary Club Foot took it even crazier. Everyone aaaaaaarggghhhing along loudly.
Rewired and Empire both amazing. To quote Tom, "Sheffield, you are f**king empire!!"
Tom went off while Serge sang La Fee Verte on a beautifully green lit stage.
Time to go bouncing crazy again with a perfect Fast Fuse. Always love Tom singing " it's getting hotterrrr". . it really was.
They went all "Pulp Fiction" at the end of this.Us in the crowd doing our best John & Uma dancing.haha At this point Serge & Tom spotted santa hats in the crowd,and thinking it was fun, began an impromptu singalong of Jingle Bells. "happy f**king Xmas Sheffield!" mass screaming followed " XD
Goodbye Kiss then the ultimate Kasabian anthem- LSF! more crazy jumping and singing. Fantastic!
3 brillant encore songs: Switchblade Smiles which was mindblowing. "can you feel it coming?" flashing up on the screen. Answer - YESSSSSSSSSS
2nd - Vlad The Impaler. The roof was bouncing along with the rest of us.
Final song was Fire. The energy in the arena was out of this world.We didn't want the song to end. The band thanked the crowd. Coming to the front to wave,clap & cheer us all.
They genuinely seemed to have had as much fun as us.I've never seen Serge as silly on stage before. Brilliant band, brilliant gig!
